Light enters the ancient architecture and transforms it. Stone, arches, stained glass, and gilded details seem to awaken in its warmth, revealing a quiet sense of renewal. In Light Renewed, I wanted to capture the moment when light gives new life to what human hands have created and preserved. The architecture becomes more than structure—it becomes a place of presence, memory, and light.

Where Light Rises

When I first stood inside Sainte-Chapelle in Paris, I was deeply moved by the spiritual power, grandeur, and splendor of this extraordinary edifice. I felt profound admiration for the people who conceived and built it, for their inspiration, dedication, and desire to honor God through their work. As an artist, I could already envision the painting this experience might inspire. I wanted to capture not only the magnificence of Sainte-Chapelle, but also the sense of wonder and spiritual elevation it awakened in me, paying tribute to the vision of those who created it. Centuries later, their work still speaks to us. We can still feel its power, experience its splendor, and marvel at what human imagination, dedication, and faith made possible. Through my art, I hope to honor this enduring legacy and contribute to a renewed appreciation for spirituality and beauty.
